Brown University Title IX Documents Online


As you probably know, Brown University has appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court a ruling that Brown had discriminated against its female athletes. Participants in this list might like to know that The Chronicle of Higher Education's daily on-line service for subscribers, Academe Today (http://chronicle.com), has available the full texts of the briefs in the Brown University Title IX case, including amicus briefs that were filed this week. The site also has other court documents and dozens of related articles and background stories on the issue of gender equity and Title IX.

Although Academe Today is a subscriber-only service, The Chronicle is offering free access for a limited time.
