This year's theme is “History, Social Science, and the Humanities: Working in Classrooms and Communities.” We believe this theme will resonate with anyone who works in the Humanities. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Approaching Challenging Topics in History
Teaching hard history—topics from wars and genocide to slavery—is an uncomfortable but necessary task for social studies educators.
