Bio: Danielle Wirsansky (she/her) is a PhD student and a Greatest Generation Fellow in the History department at Florida State University. Her focus is gender, sexuality, and resistance in the World Wars and the Holocaust, and she has a particular focus on professional women operating in Britain. She recently won the Honorable Mention award in the University of Alabama's Power & Struggle Paper Contest and previously had a paper on domestic British propaganda of WWII published in the FCH Annals: Journal of the Florida Conference of Historians. In the past, she served as an adjunct instructor at Jacksonville University and as the Project Manager for the Rosenstrasse Foundation, dedicated to honoring the memory of women involved in resistance work and rescue during the Holocaust. She is a proud member of the Society for Military History, the North American Society of Intelligence History, and the Committee on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender History.
