Dr. Timothy W. Kneeland received his Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma. A Professor and Chair of History, Law, and Politics at Nazareth College in Rochester, NY he has written on natural disaster studies and policy including, Declaring Disaster: Buffalo's Blizzard of '77 and the Creation of FEMA (2021); Playing Politics with Natural Disaster: Hurricane Agnes, the 1972 Election, and the Origins of FEMA (2020); politics, including Democrats and Republicans on Social Policy Issues; and the history of science and medicine (The Routledge Handbook of the History of American Science (in press). He teaches courses in US history and government and provides political analysis on New York State politics.
