Dr. Mark van de Logt (M.A> Utrecht University, the Netherlands, Ph.D. Oklahoma State University) joined the Liberal Arts faculty at Texas A & M University at Qatar in August 2012. He currently teaches two sections of U.S. History since 1865. Before joining Texas A & M, he was a research associate at the American Indian Studies Research Institute, Indiana University, and from 2008 to 2012 taught U.S. history at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. His specific areas of interest include: Native American History, U.S. Military History, The Gilded Age, Mexican History, and the American West.
