Bio: Courtney Hillebrecht, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her research interests are in international relations, human rights and international law. Her book, Domestic Politics and International Human Rights Tribunals: The Problem of Compliance, was recently published by Cambridge University Press (February 2014) as part of the Cambridge Studies in International and Comparative Law Series. She is also the co-editor, along with Patrice McMahon and Tyler White, of State Responses to Human Security: At Home and Abroad, with my colleagues, Patrice McMahon and Tyler White, which was published by Routledge Press in November 2013. Her work has also appeared in Democratization, Human Rights Quarterly, Human Rights Review, the European Journal of Human Rights, Foreign Policy Analysis among other outlets. |
