Bio: Manchester is an independent, residential liberal arts college located in North Manchester, Ind., offering more than 55 areas of study to about 1,300 students from 24 states and 24 countries. The College also offers two master’s degree programs, and, in August 2012, will offer a four-year professional doctoral program in pharmacy in Fort Wayne, Ind. Its faculty develops side-by-side relationships with students through small class sizes, service learning and high academic expectations. Manchester has a distinctive commitment to developing respect for ethnic, cultural and religious pluralism and an international consciousness. In the past fifteen years, 28 students have been named Fulbright Scholars. The 2012 America’s Best Colleges guide of U.S. News & World Report ranks Manchester College fourth in the Midwest in its "Great Schools, Great Prices" ranking. The college is located just 30 minutes from Fort Wayne, Ind., and within three hours of Chicago, Indianapolis, Toledo, and Detroit. |
