Bio: Studied philosophy, theology, and classical philology at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), Hebrew & Jewish thought and philosophy at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and Islamic studies at the Institut Français d'Études Arabes de Damas and the University of Damascus. Previously (–2009) Academic Director of the Centre for the Study of Muslim-Jewish Relations in Cambridge (UK).
