Bio: Sherry Bard is the Educational Programs, Project Director at the USC Shoah Foundation Institute for Visual History and Education. Currently, she is responsible for overseeing the Institute’s U.S. educational programs. Since joining the Institute 14 years ago, Sherry has held positions in Community Outreach and Partnerships and International Programs, and served as the Production Manager on the Institute’s Italian and Ukrainian documentaries. Sherry grew up in New York, and completed her B.A. in Communications at The City College of New York, where she obtained her teaching credential. Prior to joining the Shoah Foundation Institute, Sherry was a middle and high school teacher in Northern California and worked as a television segment producer on numerous educational and entertainment programs. Since 2007, Sherry has served on the Education Committee of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. |
