Julie D. Gammon <j.gammon@soton.ac.uk> University of Southampton My research interests are in the histories of childhood, gender, sexuality and crime in England between the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries. I am completing a monograph of narratives of sexual violence and embarking on a new study of childhood in eighteenth century England. I am particularly interested in developing discussions on childhood sexuality in the past and in the changing understanding of 'consent' in sexual relations. |
