Bio: Degrees: A.B., Harvard-Radcliffe Colleges, major: History and Literature (Russia). M.A. and PhD in History, Stanford University. Professional experience: Taught history at Vassar College. Currently working as an independent contractor doing research and translation projects on topics in Russian science and technology. Publications: My article “After Collectivization: Social Capital and Local Politics in Rural Western Russia, 1933-1937” was translated into Russian and published in the collection _Smolenshchina na stranitsakh amerikanskoi istoricheskoi literatury [Smolensk in American Historical Literature]_ (Smolensk, 2000). I have published book reviews in H-Russia and numerous pulications. |
