Bio: I earned my B.A. and M.A. in history at North Texas State University, and my Ph.D. in history at Indiana University. Since 1980, I have been a member of the U.S. Air Force History program at Lowry AFB, Colorado, Randolph AFB, Texas, Sembach AB, West Germany, the Air Staff in the Pentagon, and since 1993 in the book writing program at Bolling AFB. I have been director of our office's History of Air Power Course and currently am Director of the Contract History Program. I am the author of TO SAVE A CITY: THE BERLIN AIRLIFT, 1948-1949; have pubished an extensive number of articles and reviews, speak frequently in professional and public venues, and have appeared on radio and television. |
