The Yale University Departments of African American Studies and History intend to make a tenured Associate/Full Professor appointment in twentieth-century African American History with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2024. Applications are welcome from scholars at the level of associate or full professor who have demonstrated exceptional scholarship. The successful candidate will also be expected to teach courses in African American History.
Applicants, who must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree, should submit a letter of application, C.V., statements of research and teaching interests, and a chapter length writing sample prepared for anonymous reading at https://apply.interfolio.com/129125.
