Assistant Professor (Buddhist Studies)

The Department of Religious Studies at Fu-Jen Catholic University in Taipei (http://www.rsd.fju.edu.tw/index.php/zh/38-news/635-2023-07-05-03-32-16) invites applications for a full-time / Project-based assistant Professor position. The appointment will begin on Feb. 1, 2024.

• The main tasks of a full-time faculty member include research, teaching and public service. In addition, the ability to teach professional courses in English are preferred, but oral and written skills in Mandarin is required.
• The Department is inviting applicants from the field of Buddhist Studies and other associated disciplines. The candidate must hold a PhD at the time of the appointment. Qualified applicants should send the following documents :

(3) Photocopy of the certificate of doctoral degree (foreign academic credentials should be authenticated by Embassies & Missions abroad of Republic of China (Taiwan).
(4) One academic representative work or PhD dissertation, and reference works (up to four).

(6) At least two recommendation letters (can be mailed or emailed by the recommender to 049946@mail.fju.edu.tw.

(7) Photocopy of teacher’s certificate issued by the Ministry of Education, R.O.C, if available.
