The Menard Family George Washington Forum on American Ideas, Politics and Institutions and the History Department at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, Research and Teaching Postdoctoral Fellow in early American history and/or political economy. The term of the position is 1 year. The successful applicant will have an office in the History department and teach, at the direction of the chair, 1 course per semester and receive mentoring from a tenured faculty. The fellow will also engage the Washington Forum mission by attending seminars and speaker events, as well as assisting the Forum director by participating in a bi-weekly student reading group.

Salary will be commensurate with education and experience, while also considering internal equity.
