Description

• The Department of History and Political Science at Erskine College invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of History (Tenure-Track) to begin in Fall 2023.  
• The successful applicant will have a primary field in World History, Europe since 1800, or US since 1877. Applicants should be able and willing to teach the World History surveys (before and after 1600).  
• Teaching is a priority at Erskine and the course load is 4-4 with small classes. A PhD in history must be completed by August 2023.
