History. The Department of History at Saint Mary’s College invites applications for a one-year, visiting appointment for a teacher/scholar with a Ph.D. (ABD considered) in the history of Europe. Teaching responsibilities include two sections of the World History survey and one upper-level course in the area of specialty each semester. One section of the World survey will be listed in the college’s W or writing program. Interest and expertise in supporting student writing development required. While the contract begins in August, a stipend is available for the development of a W course in the summer. Review of credentials will begin on March 20 and continue until an appointment is made.
