The Department of History at the University of Tennessee seeks a Lecturer with teaching and research expertise in the history of science, medicine, and/or technology.
The Lecturer appointed will be responsible for a total of six courses in fall 2023 and spring 2024, three per semester, with no additional service expectation. The teaching assignment for fall 2023 will be two sections of a post-1500 world history survey and one section of a lower division course on SMT in world perspective, antiquity to the present. The assignment for spring 2024 will be two sections of a post-1500 world history survey and one class in SMT, topic open.
