Missouri State University’s History Department is searching for an instructor to teach US History Surveys and Introduction to African American Studies. Start date is August 14, 2023. The successful candidate may have the opportunity to teach upper-level courses in their specialty depending on department needs. Minimum qualifications include an earned terminal degree or the degree required for teaching in US History or related discipline. Potential or demonstrated teaching ability is required. A willingness to serve the academic unit, college, and the University is required. The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds is required. Applicants must be willing to teach online and seated classes.
