King’s University College at Western University of London, Ontario, situated on the traditional territories of the Anishnaabek, Haudenosaunee, Lūnaapéewak, and Chonnonton peoples, invites applications for a probationary tenure-track Appointment in Childhood and Youth Studies at the rank of Assistant Professor, effective July 1, 2023, subject to budgetary approval.
We are seeking a scholar with expertise in law, critical legal studies, and/or policy analysis to join our interdisciplinary Department of Childhood and Youth Studies. Candidates should have a PhD, or be near completion. We encourage applications from those trained in any discipline or field, but those with a specialization in North American youth justice, family law, child protection, or education law will be favoured.
Applicants should submit a letter of application, curriculum vitae, the names and contact details of three academics willing to provide a reference, a teaching portfolio (including teaching evaluations) and select publications, to cys.chair@kings.uwo.ca.
