Ge'ez Lecturer

Position DescriptionThe Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies (PIIRS) is seeking to appoint a full-time lecturer in Ge'ez, with an expected start date of September 1, 2023. Appointment will be made at the rank of Lecturer. We anticipate a three-year appointment, with the possibility of renewal pending satisfactory performance. Appointment duty time will depend upon course enrollments. Proven experience in teaching Ge'ez at the university level, are absolutely essential. Master's degree or enrollment in a Ph.D. program required; Ph.D. preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in Linguistics, African Studies, or Applied Linguistics, although other fields will also be considered when there is evidence of sustained experience teaching Ge'ez at the university level. Proven experience in coordination (course, level, or program) and curriculum development will be a plus. Applicants must apply online at https://www.princeton.edu/acad-positions/position/28521.
