Part-Time Upper School History Teacher
The Winsor School is an independent girls' school for academically promising and motivated students in grades five through twelve. We are currently seeking an Upper School History teacher to teach part time beginning in mid-January 2023. This is a one-semester position. Teaching experience is required. Strong candidates will have a degree in History or another social science. Experience teaching U.S. history and modern European history is preferred. Candidates who also have a background in Latin American or Russian history are especially encouraged to apply. A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion work, an understanding of the importance of teacher engagement in community life, and an interest in using a variety of pedagogical approaches in the classroom are essential. Compelling candidates will demonstrate ongoing professional development in their field and the ability to use technology effectively in the teaching and learning process.
