The Department of History at Lafayette College invites applications for a one-year visiting position in the history of Africa beginning late August 2022. All regional specializations, time periods, and topics of study will be considered. The successful candidate will teach introductory world history courses, as well as more specialized courses in African history. Visiting faculty members receive competitive salaries and teach a 3-3 load. Preference will be given to candidates with previous teaching experience.
The review process will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
