Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) Associate Professor and Professor (Anthropology and Sociology)

Faculty Position in Anthropology and Sociology 

The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Mushtaq Ahmad Gurmani School of Humanities and Social Sciences (MGSHSS), Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Lahore, Pakistan, invites applications for full-time faculty of all ranks (Assistant Professor (tenure track), Associate Professor, Professor) in Sociology and/or anthropology. Candidates should be able to offer a variety of undergraduate core course such as Introduction to Sociology or Anthropology, Research Methods, and Sociological/Anthropological Theory, as well as courses within their areas of specialization. The successful candidate will be required to teach undergraduate students (three courses a year), achieve high standards of research, serve on departmental/university committees, and provide input for the development and expansion of the Anthropology and Sociology Major at LUMS.  The appointment will commence in Fall 2022 or Spring 2023. Candidates should have a doctoral degree Sociology or anthropology at the time of appointment.
