The Department of History at Texas A&M University seeks a non-tenure track Instructional Assistant Professor to teach a 3-3 course-load for the 2022-23 academic year. The teaching assignments involve the first and second half of the U.S. History survey, with a preference for those who can also teach the Texas History survey. While most courses will be taught in a traditional, face-to-face format, this position contains a service component (25%) in support of pedagogical innovation regarding flipped-hybrid teaching, open educational resources, and universal design. A completed PhD is required as is prior teaching experience. The successful candidate should have familiarity with the learning management system Canvas.
