University of Strathclyde, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
Strathclyde Chancellors Fellow in Interdisciplinary Gender Studies (Lecturer/Senior Lecturer)
Institution Type: | College / University |
Location: | United Kingdom |
Position: | Lecturer |
The School of Humanities is recruiting a Chancellor’s Fellow in Interdisciplinary Gender Studies. The successful candidate’s research will focus on gender as it intersects with other structural inequalities, including race, class and/or religion. The ideal candidate will have an interdisciplinary background and familiarity with research methodologies spanning humanities and social sciences. Although not restricting our search to these areas, we encourage colleagues with specialisms in South or East Asian, Middle Eastern, African or Latin American feminisms; digital activisms; communications and advocacy; environmentalism or digital humanities. The successful candidate will contribute to the MSc Applied Gender Studies, particularly to the programme's Research Methods route, and to other research-led teaching across the School of Humanities (Journalism, Media & Communication; English and Creative Writing; Modern Languages; History).
