Nazareth College seeks a Visiting Instructor or Visiting Assistant Professor of History. This is a one-year appointment in United States history. The successful candidate will offer four courses each semester (three preparations) including two U.S. history surveys and upper-division electives in their specialty. All specializations and sub-fields will be considered.
Preference is given to candidates who can teach digital history or can contribute to Nazareth’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives. Other attractive specialties would include labor history or immigration history.
Candidates must be either ABD or have a Ph.D. in history or a closely related field.
