The Department of General History at the Bar Ilan University, Ramat Gan, Israel, seeks to fill a tenure track position, starting October 2022, in one of the two fields:
Medieval History
American History
We are looking for candidates with proven academic excellence in their fields of expertise. Applicants must have a Ph.D. and a demonstrable commitment to both teaching and research.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach, research, and carry usual nonteaching duties.
The call is open to all academic ranks and is subject to academic and budgetary approval by the university. Primary teaching language: Hebrew.
Required skills:
- PhD
- Excellent publication record
- Academic teaching experience
- Postdoc—advantage
