Georgetown University invites applications for the position of Ion Ratiu Visiting Professor in Romanian Studies at the Center for Eurasian, Russian, and East European Studies of the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. Requirements for the position are excellence in Romanian studies and proficiency in the Romanian language. Candidates will be selected on the basis of excellence in scholarship and promise of strong teaching capabilities. The successful applicant will become a core faculty member in CERES and teach courses in support of one of the top interdisciplinary MA programs in this field and its undergraduate area studies certificate. The position is for three academic years with possibility of extension.
