History of Science: Illinois State University in Normal, IL, seeks to hire a nine-month probationary tenure-track assistant professor in the History of Science, with the appointment beginning August 15, 2022. Specialization is open. A conferred Ph.D. in history or a closely related field is expected by the appointment start date. Candidates who have experience working with a diverse range of faculty, staff, and students, and who can contribute to the climate of inclusivity on campus are especially welcome to apply. State law mandates demonstrable oral proficiency in the English language as a requirement for teaching positions.
