Job Description:
The Department of History at Weber State University invites applications for a one-year position (with the possibility of renewal contingent on budgetary considerations) at the rank of Instructor in U.S. History to begin Fall 2021. The preferred candidate will have a specialization in post-1945 social/ cultural history (to complement department strengths).
The successful applicant will teach 5 courses (or 15 credit/hours) per semester for 2 semesters. Applicants should demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching undergraduate students; familiarity with Canvas is a plus.

PhD in History is required prior to appointment. ABD candidates may apply, however, the PhD must be in hand by July 1, 2021.
