The U.S. Naval Academy invites applications for the Class of 1957 Chair of Naval Heritage to begin as early as July 2021 in the History Department.
The Department of History at the United States Naval Academy invites applications for the Class of 1957 Chair of Naval Heritage for a 10-month period beginning the fall semester of 2021. The successful applicant will possess a distinguished record of published scholarship in naval or Marine Corps history (any nation, era, or field) and be an accomplished classroom instructor. The department is especially interested in applicants who will be exemplary mentors and role models to our highly diverse student population. The United States Naval Academy (USNA) is a four-year undergraduate institution with a mission to prepare midshipmen morally, mentally, and physically for commissioning as officers in the naval services.
