Short-term hire: Colgate University's History Department and its Picker Art Gallery seek someone academically familiar with World War II on the Eastern Front to revise an existing historical annotated guide to the more than 90 photographs by Evgenii Khaldei held by the Picker Gallery. The ideal candidate would have considerable knowledge of the Eastern Front during World War II as well as the conditions prevailing for the publication of these photographs from the front. Expertise in discussing the composition and technical aspects of the photographs a welcome plus. Hourly remuneration negotiable but envisioned at $25-$35/hour for some 100-150 hours.
