The Department of History at the University of Colorado Boulder seeks a tenure-track assistant professor specializing in African American History. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active research agenda, teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in African American and American/U.S. History (including one or both of the two American/U.S. history surveys), and provide service to the department, campus, and larger professional community. ABDs will be considered, but the Ph.D. degree or its equivalent in History or a related field must be conferred by August 16, 2021.
