The History Department at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse seeks an instructor (IAS) to teach courses in World and African/African Diaspora (US excluded) History. Please refer to our online course listing for a description of HIS 110, 285, 379, 380, 381, 386, 388, 397, and 398. The position is for three semesters (Spring 2021, Fall 2021, and Spring 2022) and is a 5/5 load with no service obligations. (Each semester would be 3-4 sections HIS 110 world history plus one 200 and/or 300-level course.) Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the spring 2021 semester can be taught entirely online; relocation would be expected by Fall 2021. Familiarity with the CANVAS course management system is a plus. The salary is approximately $20,000 per semester, plus benefits. ABDs encouraged to apply.
