Carleton College seeks to fill a position in the history of modern Latin America, including the Caribbean, for the 2020-2021 academic year with the possibility of renewal. The successful candidate will teach five courses during the academic year (three ten-week terms). Teaching obligations will include a survey of modern Latin America (1800-present) and more specialized courses. As well as excellence in research, the successful candidate will have demonstrated interest in undergraduate teaching. Candidates should have the Ph.D. in hand by Sept. 1, 2020.s.
