Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor
Syracuse University School of Architecture seeks a one year Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor in Architectural History, to teach a combination of general survey courses in the history of architecture and/or small lecture classes in their field of expertise to undergraduate and graduate students. Candidates should have completed, or almost completed, a Ph.D. in Architectural History or Art History with a primary focus in architecture and urbanism. We are particularly interested in candidates whose scholarly agenda examines the interconnected global histories of architecture and the built environment in the Americas (any period) and who demonstrate a commitment to teaching history in a professional school of architecture.
