Union College’s Department of History invites applications for a 2/3 benefit eligible, one-year visiting assistant professor position in European History for academic year 2020-2021. Sub-field and time-frame are open, with preference for early Europe. Teaching load is four courses over three 10-week trimesters.
The successful candidate will offer three lower-level undergraduate classes in the area of expertise and teach a course in Union College’s General Education program. Preference will be given to those candidates who provide evidence of effective teaching. A PhD is preferred, but qualified ABDs will be considered.
