Required: PhD by August 2020. Specialization in imperialism/colonialism with geographic expertise in the Indian Ocean World, Southeast Asia, and/or China. 4/4 teaching load. Publication or strong promise of publication and service to university and community required.
Teaching experience is required, as is the ability to teach both the US and World civilization survey courses; willingness and ability to periodically teach online preferred. Long-term job success requires commitment to teaching and advising excellence.
MSU is a public liberal arts university offering the BA and MA, and is a member of COPLAC in a city of 104,000 two hours from Dallas/Fort Worth and Oklahoma City.
