ROLE of the POSITION
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Twentieth-Century Gender/Women’s/Sexuality History, with expertise in Oral History and an emphasis on the Americas since 1945. Applicants whose research links the United States to other parts of the world in connective or comparative ways are especially welcome. The successful candidate will complement and expand the strength of the history faculty by making contributions to the undergraduate, graduate, and Public History programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a Ph.D. in History, or a closely related field, from a regionally accredited college or university and experience in the field of Public History. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment.
SALARY RANGE
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
