Tenure-track Assistant Professor Position in Latinx Religion
The Department of Philosophy & Religious Studies at California State University, Bakersfield, seeks to fill a tenure-track assistant professor position in Latinx religions with a focus on contemporary religion. The successful candidate will teach courses in his or her specialization and in CSUB’s General Education program. Desired areas of competency include Indigenous Religions, New Religious Movements, Human Rights, and Sociology of Religion. Normal teaching load is four courses per semester. Ph.D. required at time of appointment, August 2020. Prior teaching at the university level strongly preferred.
