Tenure-Track Position in Pre- and Post-Soviet Russian History

The Department of History and Classics at Providence College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in Pre- and Post-Soviet Russian History beginning in the fall of 2020. Ability to teach Russian and Eastern European survey courses is required. We welcome applications from candidates whose research places Russia and/or Eastern Europe in a transnational context. Competence to teach in the Development of Western Civilization program as part of the regular teaching load is also required. Experience in interdisciplinary and/or team-teaching is desirable. Ph.D. by date of appointment is required.
