The Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s History Section seeks to appoint a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor in the field of environmental history effective July 1, 2020. Candidates working on any time period and area of the world are invited to apply.
A successful candidate must have received a Ph.D. or expect to do so by September 1, 2020. Applicants at the dissertation stage should be in a position to share a complete draft of the dissertation by November 1, 2019.
