The Department of History at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, in New Brunswick, invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position, beginning Fall 2020, at the assistant professorial rank, in Environmental History. The department welcomes applications from candidates in all chronological and regional fields, but has a particular interest in scholars committed to teaching about climate history, including anthropogenic climate change. Candidates must have received a Ph.D. by the start of the appointment.
