The Department of Visual Arts at Ashoka University invites applications for faculty positions (rank open) with an expected start date of September 1, 2019. We are open to outstanding candidates in any subfield, but we are particularly interested in candidates whose research specializes in art history, visual culture, material culture, and curatorial studies. Award of Ph.D degree is minimum requirement by the time of application for the above specifications.
We are also are particularly interested in candidates whose work specializes in any media, and form of studio arts including but not limited to drawing, oil painting, sculpture, clay modeling, print-making, photography, and multi-media installation.
Visitors (Visiting Faculty) are also welcome to apply for both the positions mentioned above.
