The Croft Institute for International Studies (https://www.croft.olemiss.edu/home/) and the Arch Dalrymple III Department of History (http://history.olemiss.edu/) of the University of Mississippi seek to hire a Visiting Instructional Assistant Professor of History of France in the World for the 2019-20 academic year. Duties will include teaching lower and upper division undergraduate courses in the history of modern Europe, twentieth century France, and French Empire in a Global Context, with a teaching load of three courses per semester. Supervision of senior theses may also be included as part of instructional responsibilities. PhD required prior to appointment.
