UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI, Department of History, seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor for the academic year 2019-2020 in the fields of Nineteenth- and Twentieth-Century Caribbean and Latin American History (excluding Mexico). We particularly welcome applications from candidates specializing in the history of migration and/or transnational history. Duties include teaching introductory surveys, upper-level lecture courses, and graduate seminars. The teaching assignment is three courses each semester. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in hand by July 31, 2019.
