The Department of History at Loyola University New Orleans is seeking applications for a one year non-tenure track visiting assistant professor position in the history of Africa and/or African Diaspora. Applicants must be able to teach a variety of courses on both continental Africa and Africa's place in world history and the Global History survey. Teaching load will be 4/4. All applicants must have the Ph.D. or be ABD by August 2019.
