Wabash College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor of History to begin July 1, 2019. Ph.D. preferred by time of appointment, ABD considered. The area of specialty is open, though fields outside the US and western Europe will be given special consideration. The department at Wabash College is committed to an international focus and the teaching of world history. The teaching load is 3-3, and will include the introductory course in world history.
Applicants must have a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, an appreciation for the broad intellectual community of an excellent liberal arts college, and the ability to work with a diverse student body. Competitive salary and support for faculty development is available.
