The Department of History at Central Michigan University invites applications for a renewable fixed-term position in Modern Latin American History to begin August 2019. The successful candidate will teach four classes per semester; the majority of these will be introductory survey courses in Latin American history and additional courses as assigned. Applicants must have a PhD in history. Preferred qualifications include interest in active-learning methods.

Position is open until filled, although priority consideration will be given to applications received by January 18, 2019.
